For a decade, the building products industry has utilized the theory that any building product with at least 10% reconstituted or recycled materials received a “Green” designation. Mar-flex Waterproofing & Building Products CEO Brett Oakley, who has worked for more than 20 years to bring 100% recycled products to the building industry, has had enough. “From this moment on, we are only committed to bringing environmentally-safe, sustainable, green building products to market,” Oakley said of the new Mar-flex Green initiative.
The Mar-flex Green initiative will focus on developing an entire line of Green building products that will double current standards and will add to the company’s existing 100% recycled products that include ShockWave and GEO Mat product lines.
