Drain & Dry Drainage boards are produced using an innovative process which converts bio-based materials into an inert polymer that bonds mineral wool strands together. This process eliminates the formaldehyde and phenols found in traditional binders and insulation. Like traditional polymer-based drainage boards, Drain & Dry boards offer ample protection for waterproofing and dampproofing membranes during backfilling operations as well as excellent drainage properties. Drain & Dry is also effective as thermal insulation, further bolstering its credentials as a green building material.
Drain & Dry is easy to handle and install, making it an ideal product for commercial and residential drainage board needs. Drain & Dry boards should be installed from the top of the footing to the grade line and are applied shortly after membrane application and before backfilling operations start.
